The client required a full internal refurbishment program of a 400 sqm commercial unit, including the internal alterations and construction of more contemporary office space to house training rooms, computer rooms and a Director’s office. The unit required full electrical packages to include specialist data equipment, electronic access panels and a complexed fire and intruder alarm system. The project was to be completed within a seven-week program; it was delivered on time and on budget.

The commercial unit required a much-needed full refurbishment throughout including new external metal cladding and commercial grade windows and doors on all levels; the forming of new meeting rooms and working technician areas including the installation of specialist wiring and software for the use of technicians that develop and supply neonatal ventilation products. Care of neonates is a highly specialised area. SLE supply hospitals and industry specialists with life support alarms as well as life support ventilators, so completing the works within the time frame given was crucial.

A 3-storey period building in central Sevenoaks, that previously housed a warren of small rooms, was completely renovated and refurbished to create an incredibly stunning commercial space comprising a large open plan studio, meeting rooms, kitchen area, contemporary WCs and a lounge area. The works included completely reconfiguring and opening up each floor, in particular removing the first floor ceiling to enable an impressive double-height space, adding 2 large roof lights over the studio space.
