The brief required two redundant classrooms to be remodelled into functional and spacious staff changing rooms. The areas were to include showering and toilet facilities, as well as an area to be fully accessible and operational for wheelchair access. Also, a major refurbishment was in order to provide the school with a much-needed overhaul of the pupil changing rooms, WCs and shower areas throughout. The final results were a much-needed improvement and gave confidence in the knowledge that, with the electronic access panels that were installed, it would provide a safe and secure area for many years.
